This nitrite-accelerated phosphating metal pre-treatment is used to produce micro-crystalline zinc calcium phosphate layers on steel and iron surfaces.
BONDERITE® M-ZN 20 is a nitrite-accelerated phosphating metal pre-treatment, which produces micro-crystalline zinc calcium phosphate layers on steel and iron surfaces. It provides very good corrosion protection and excellent adhesion for painting or coating. It is low in sludge and can be applied in spay or immersion processes. It is also used as a conversion step in typical immersion pre-treatment cycles, where steel has been previously pre-treated to remove surface pollutants such as oil or rust.
